Burberry Lusting and the Wonders of Technology...

Earlier this week it was Burberry Beauty, today it's Burberry Style. I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. It's partly the fault of DisneyRollerGirl who posted about her favourite SS14 looks and reminded me of the fact that they were all available to pre-order right this minute. I mustn't even go there - the double cashmere trench in grey is calling to me like no other coat has called before - but if you fancy a spot of very indulgent and very long-sighted spring-summer-2014 shopping then go and have a browse.

On a completely different note, I was very impressed with Burberry's collaboration with Apple during fashion week. They used the iPhone 5s to record and share the show; even the big sweeping overhead shots were taken on the iPhone - three of them, actually - and all of the backstage Beauty Booth pictures. It kind of makes me want to take my hugely expensive DSLR camera back to Jessops. I exaggerate, of course - the quality is incomparable - but still, it's amazing what a handheld device can do these days. I find the iPhone a little shaky to record film on - the videographers at Burberry had theirs held steady in camera rigs and so on - but for catching moments "on the go" you can't beat it, really. Has anyone bought the new iPhone yet? I'm considering it but waiting for feedback before I take the plunge!
