A fun and frivolous emergency post as the strains of moving house have wormed their way into my brain and I can’t get it together to write something proper! This “Tin o’ Tint” looks like something you’d win at a fairground, doesn’t it? Or find in one of those chemist’s shops that’s stuck in the eighties – garish colours, old-school fonts and the type of illustrations that you find on the wrappers of French bon-bons.

All intentionally retro, I’m assuming, because none of the other products from Miners look like this! Inside the round tin there’s a decent enough balm with a good dose of tint – the Pink Grapefruit version is (as you’d expect) pink, but for a punchy coral have a look at the Mango one. There are a few other options too, including a sheer Vanilla and a dark-nude Cocoa Bean. Moisturising effects aren’t that long-lasting but the colours are cheery enough…
