new foundation launches

For regular readers, this video is just something a bit extra; I’ll be doing far more in-depth reviews of the foundations shown on the video here on the website. You know how I like to keep you all in the Youtube loop!

See all recent videos…

There are quite a few new foundations launching at the moment (aren’t there always) and as there are usually lots of questions that pop up I thought I’d do a little overview with my notes on things like foundation texture and coverage. There’s a great upcoming launch from Armani, the Bi-Phase Oil Maestro Glow foundation, which is brilliant for drier skin, the Effaclar BB Blur which is particularly good for oily/combination and then two flawless finish, radiant bases (YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat and Chanel’s Les Beiges) that are pretty much suited to most skin types. I have another load of new foundations to work my way through this week, but it’s surprisingly time-consuming testing them out so please bear with me. For now, a brief whizz through the first batch – please refer to the extra notes below the video screen for launch times or stockist links.

Flawless/Glowing Skin Foundations Shown:

YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation (I use shade 20 – I think that this reformulation comes up slightly darker, I use 30 in the former version so you may want to get re-matched on counter!): launches mid-February. Updated: it’s here.

Chanel Les Beiges Foundation (I use shade 30, but in the Velvet I use a 20, so LB comes up slightly lighter. There is also a MASSIVE jump between 20 and 30, for some reason!): http://bit.ly/1UkARdW

La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Blur (I used Light/Fair here): https://www.ruthcrilly.co.uk/2016/…

Armani Maestro Glow – I used shade 4 but could probably have even gone a shade darker. It looks far darker just as you apply it. Launches in February

The Temptu Foundation Airbrushing: this is a proper investment for people who are serious about their makeup, I think. I would absolutely say to have a go with it before purchasing, if you can. Especially to find the correct foundation shade. Here it is online: http://bit.ly/1ZWMI8M

On my face I’m wearing the Temptu foundation, Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve, Lancome Grandiose Mascara, Chanel AW15 Eyeshadow Palette (Tisse d’Automne) and Sisley Lip Balm.
