Red Shoes Two Ways

For some reason I have become fixated on finding a pair of red shoes to wear to my brother’s wedding next month. It seems an odd thing to become fixated on, I grant you, but when you spend long hours awake in the middle of the night with no adult conversation and just Google for amusement, it’s very easy to find lots of things that you must have.

So, two pairs of red shoes ordered from the LK Bennett sale and I’m keeping both. I have two heel heights covered so that I can negotiate cobbles and baby-carrying pre-ceremony (the low ones) and look a bit sexy when I’m standing holding my one allowable glass of champagne (the high ones). As you know I bloody love LKB heels – they always fit me perfectly and I can wear them for hours without too much trouble at all.

Above we have the Floret Suede Courts (actually described as being orange, but they are the reddiest orange going, rather like the perfect summer lipstick!) which were £85 down from £170 (find them here). And below we have the more precarious court shoes – I can just about move myself around in these without having to grab onto passers-by for support…

The higher pair have a faux-python-effect leather with random black spots and I love them. I can’t seem to find them online now – I wonder whether I had the very last pair? But same heel height, different design here and here. The whole sale is worth a browse, there are loads of lovely things on there. I may have to nip back and get the matching bag for my python heels!

*UPDATE: here they are, I was having a mad moment.
