Just a courtesy post to let you all know that I’m temporarily on strike until the heatwave breaks and it starts to rain. Which I think is supposed to happen later on tonight, but who knows? With any luck it might be Friday, or even Saturday! Hurrah!

I’ve taken up residence in a deckchair in my garden. It’s so hot that I only really manage five or ten minutes at a time before dragging myself into the shade, but it’s doing me the world of good quietly ploughing through my reading list and not being glued to my laptop all day.

So forgive me; normal service will resume when the temperature drops below – I don’t know – twenty-eight degrees? I have a wonderful giveaway for you this week, so I suppose I had better pull my socks up and get back to work at some point…
