1) Newly launched bodycare brand Mio is definitely one to put on your “must try” list. Some of the products in their line-up might already sound familiar to you – the Boob Tube bust firming treatment and Shrink to Fit cellulite cream are little gems that I’ve mentioned before – but you may have known them as part of the Mama Mio brand, which caters more specifically for pregnancy and post-pregnancy care. Mio is all about high intensity bodycare, fit skin and being proactive about taking care of yourself – you can see from the packaging (which I love, by the way) that it has a sporty, modern feel. Old favourites have had a bit of an ingredients overhaul and there are loads of completely new products that I’ll be posting about individually, no doubt, as and when I’ve given them a good old test!

2) ASOS has an extra 20% off sale items this weekend (they already have 70% off). This means that I’ll be spending a considerable amount of time pretending to be working in my office, when in fact I am poring over the ASOS sales dregs and trying to work out whether the polyester print trousers will give me electric shocks whenever I move… You need to use the code “20MORE” at the checkout to get the extra discount. 3) Animals. Cat, above, in a box. Dog, below, posing on the sofa. Behaviour update: they are getting along very well and play-fight almost constantly if they can get away with it. So far, no injuries, but I’m keeping the cat-claws short just in case he suddenly loses his cool…
