Trevor Sorbie: a Cabinet Re-Shuffle and some Instant Root Volume

haircare review

Trevor Sorbie has launched its new Salon Approved Collection. A proper “cabinet re-shuffle” with loads of new formulations and different, more up-to-date packaging. Fear not if you have firm favourites from the old Trevor Sorbie ranges – you’ll still find them in the new re-organised system! If you have any problems locating your old formulas then leave a comment below and I’ll try to get someone to come and help.

One of my favourite new additions, I think, is the Big Hair Powder – a weightless volume booster powder that you simply apply to the roots of your hair before massaging in with fingertips. Actually, massaging is too strong a word – all you need is a quick rub. Mess-free, no blow-drying required and you get some serious, serious volume in just a few seconds. Be sure to rub it in, though, because if you don’t you can end up looking as though you have something of a dandruff problem!

You can find the whole range at Boots – the Big Hair Powder is £6.29.
