Merry Christmas everyone! I hope that you all have a wonderful day with family and friends and lots of merriment. I write this at 00:20 with my hair wet from the rain outside and the end chorus of Hark the Herald Angels
still ringing in my ears; I decided to attend midnight mass at my local church, which just happens to be at the top of my road. I haven’t done that in many, many years and it brought back so many lovely memories.

Right. I’m off to put all of the baubles back on the tree again. Mr Bear has been pulling them all off and playing football with them in the small hours of the morning – next year I’m simply going to glue them to the branches.
